Elkhorn Kayaking- new low put in temp

Paddled the Elkhorn with Koebs and Robert on a bright blue winter day in Kentucky 1/7/17. The temperature at the time of put in was 10 degrees Fahrenheit, a new low put in temperature for the three of us.

The river was around 750cfs, and my first time running it at that level. Didn't really play around too much because I didn't want to risk rolling, but it looked like a good level with some waves coming into play and a bunch of surfing opportunities.

If Kentucky ever stayed cold there could be some awesome ice climbing opportunities in the Elkhorn canyon.
