Mile 180 - 369!

So quite a bit has happened since I left Idylwild. We went up the devil's staircase.. Or something to that effect to get back on trail. We then hiked and camped within 2 miles of the summit of Mt San Jacinto for a sunrise hike on the next day.

On the way down we had to descend Fuller Ridge. The descent was 16 miles of switchbacks and 6000 feet of elevation loss. We camped that night and headed to Ziggy and the Bear's in the morning.

From Ziggy and the Bear's we were fortunate enough to get a ride from my friend Ryan around the next section of fire closures. This landed us in Big Bear Lake.

From Big Bear Lake, Candy Man and I got a motel for the night, rested and tried out the local breweries.

The following day we caught a hitch to the trailhead and hiked 17 miles for the day.

Something happened after this day but we hiked 26 miles.

The next day brought a hot spring and a creek, which was fantastic and we ended up hiking 27 miles.

The day after, Candy Man split off and I was by myself for the 23 mile trek to McDonalds. After arriving and destroying the place, a couple of us left a  law a hikeded 4 miles till night.

Today I hiked 25ish miles into Wrightwood to pick up my 3rd resupply box. I also grabbed a ton of fruit and milk because that's what I was craving. Pending getting a hitch i'll be back on trail tonight!!

Random Notes: Trail names. Trail names are given to people because 1. They're 10x easier to remember and 2. It's fun. With that being said I was given the trail name Paddy O'Hulk. This is because of my Redbeard for the Irish part. The Hulk part because when I feel good I take off and "hulk" up the trail.

Running  water is marvelous.

I count when I walk. It's weird. I don't know why I do it.

Sorry there aren't more pictures it takes a while to upload a bunch and I didn't have time.

Happy Trails!!
